It is all about the attitude of the persons discussing a subject or asking a question.

I bite my tongue when I feel that people don't want to hear what I have to say; reason for which it will not be of any help.

"For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream." - Vincent Van Gogh

"In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." - Theodore Roosevelt

"Nothing can stop the man with the right mental attitude from achieving his goal; nothing on earth can help the man with the wrong mental attitude." - Thomas Jefferson

Sometimes, having the best intentions, we try helping a new rider with a simple problem.
Then, someone expects you to be an expert on the subject or to use the exact words.

Other times, that rider even makes no effort to provide accurate information or prompt feed-back: time for me to keep quiet.
