I had tried that with what was in my tool kit, but couldn't get it.
I tried heating it, couldn't get it.
I ended up taking the whole thing off and trying that way. Just like before, all it was doing was stripping the bolt. Neighbor found a Torx bit and hammered it in, then used a ratchet to get it. It took several tries, but worked. The whole bolt, from top to bottom, was covered in blue loctite. Crusty chunks of it were all around inside where the bolt goes in. I've been told that's how it should be, I just know I have to order a new bolt.
