I've been lurking here for a long time. This forum helped convince me to buy my 2011 Ninja 250R more than 3 years ago! The unique thing about my bike is that I had it painted in the colors of my alma mater. The University of Michigan. I had it painted to look just like our maize and blue football helmets. I think it's gorgeous. I've gotten much better at riding, but I'm still learning everyday.

I finally decided to join this forum because I am stumped with a few issues about my bike and need your help. This probably needs it own thread but I will preface it here. No matter how much I try, my top speed is 78 mph and I get only 30 mpg!!! Something has to be wrong, right? Your advice is appreciated.
