I'd check the air box and air filter for restrictions. Rodents love to nest in them over the winter. Carbs could be clogged up. Spark plugs could be old and worn out. Or you could have low compression.
Thanks. I will start with these suggestions. Carbs have been cleaned but the air box and filter might help.
