To begin with...do you own ultrasonic? have compressed air? a place to park the bike and work indoors? Have appropriate tools? Capable and willing?

The float valve has already been replaced relatively recently with a brand new one. I tested it thoroughly and I'd be surprised if it's not sealing, but is still a possibility.
I do have everything else other than an ultrasonic cleaner though.
