assuming you could adapt the steering stem and bearings to the frame on the 250, you would then run into the issue of clearance between the forks and the inside of the fairings, the clipons and the top the fairings, and other associated fitment issues (lines, cables, etc.) It can be done but perhaps would require a significant amount of work (and maybe dollars) to complete and have factory finish.
