so ya, resell value is gone
I lowsided when i first got my bike and immediately replaced the fairing, i thought the damage was horrible at the time. Now I see its not too bad, it has a small piece from the center(right behind the turn lamp) broken out but i fits right back into the slot so it would need to be glued and the paint is scuffed. If you stand a bit away you cant notice any damage at all, is it worth anything?

Yeah put it up on ebay if you wanna make a few bones off of it. People with the no-how repair slightly damaged ones for replacements all the time because it can be cheaper.
