Confirmed, $7995, forget about it. There are so many good bikes you can get for $8k or even less, like an FZ-07, this bike makes no market sense at this price.

Apparently it's just a sleeved down 803cc motor, and swapping out for cheaper suspension and braking components from the regular Scrambler. That's a pretty weak effort on Ducati's part, and I can't imagine who would buy one when the full Scrambler is basically the same bike with more than double the power, better brakes and suspension, for $800 more.

I guess it is indeed a licensing offering, not something that we need in the States.
