Motorcycles hold your life in their hands much more so than cars. You have to learn to trust a motorcycle much more than car. You have to know it better. Take care of it and it will take care of you. I know my motorcycles way better than I know my cars.
For me, it's literally my zen. Have a ****** day? Go to the shop and work on a bike. Even if it's just a wax job. Check the chain. Check the tires. Check the fluids. Gets my mind off of the other parts of life.
Crank up the tunes and just go away for a while.
