It's really not that much of a hassle to swap pants/shoes, if you wear dress pants, wrinkles could be an issue though. When I had a locker at work, I commuted on my Ninja sometimes. I had Alpinestars over pants that that I wore over my slacks, but now I'd just wear my leather pants and switch pants, it only takes an extra minute, the shoes are coming off anyway.
Currently I literally have nowhere to safely store my gear at work, we lost our lockers. Quite a bummer, because motorcycle parking is way closer than the regular parking lot.
