With a bit more research, I could probably just do it on one weekend if I put my head down... I understand the diodes and wiring, now its just a matter of taking apart the fairing.... 
by the way, the indicators you linked me to earlier, they are nice! how are they working out for you? still good? waterproof?? hows the brightness on them during the day??

You could definitely do it in one weekend with ease. The indicators are good, waterproof and part of the stalk is rubber which makes them a bit more durable. Haven't really been able to check on the daytime visibility as it has been constantly raining and overcast since I installed them

One of them arrived with only have the LEDs lighting but I contacted the seller and they've sent a replacement already! At just over $10 I would say they're definitely worth it.
