I used stand alone jacks on the front and rear until I got my stands. The bike is far less stable on them as compared to the stands but it should work. Only catch is you have to have someone help you place the front or rear on the jacks

I wouldn't use a cherry picker to lift the bike but I'm sure someone has tried it. It only weighs approx. 330lbs.Not sure how you would rig it up though.
