If you have LED turn-signals, you need to add ballast resistors in parallel with them to increase load and draw more power for the flasher-relay to work properly. Along with the turn-signal indicator on dash. However, this is only if you are replacing turn signals with LED.

If you want to connect them in Y-configuration in parallel with factory turn-signals, then no resistors needed and is simplest method.
