You'll want a bulb with single LED that mimics placement of filament in incandescent bulb to minimize glare to oncoming drivers.

The Philips Xtreme Ultinon was 1st bulb that actually works similar to incandescent bulb. I think there's a copy now available on superbrightleds.com. Greg737 found it and has been using it for past 2-yrs and have positive reports.
