You need to and also use its two pulsing coil pickups instead of the newer single coil pickup (found on the EL250B/E and EX250F's) if you are using the analog 1986-1987 igniter.

I swapped over the stator from the ex250e.
Could you explain that a bit more? I'm using the ex250e coils and one side has spark its just the other side has no power going to the coil pack. I've swapped coils to see if the other one works, and it does. I just think the igniter isnt fully working. I should be able to look at it some more today.
