I'm sure you know the benefit of steel braided vs stock rubber. Steel braided reduces/rids the expansion loss from the pressure on the lines so you get more braking for the same effort used in to brake normally with stock rubber lines. Combine that with better brake pads and you got MAD BRAKING POWER!
