Kamm tail aerodynamics are interesting. The theory is that the Kamm tail tricks the airflow into thinking that there is a large boattail behind the airfoil wide point.
Of course something like this would kill the ability to load the required bags of groceries.
It is however, interesting to think about in relation to just aerodynamics and mileage.
