Thanks csmith12 for the answer. I'm not referring to the noise when starting the bike though, but when the bike is actually already running. Might be hard to hear, but there is another noise going on besides the normal engine noise.
Also, have you heard the noise when turning off the bike? That's definitely easily heard, and not normal.
