By the way, you mentioned Wayah Road a couple years ago. When I looked at the map, I made a loop from Deals Gap, down 28 to Franklin for lunch, then Wayah Rd. to 129, and back to DG on 129. We rode it twice last year and once this year. We really enjoy Wayah Bald and the spectacular views. The first time we rode up there we weren't sure where the gravel road was going to end, but we kept at it for something like five miles until we got to the bald. That's become a favorite ride for my daughter and me.
She looks young, but she's almost 30.
