My question was mainly about replacing the stock MC with one from a 636. After adding clip-ons, the brake line hits the gauge cluster making left turns impossible. I was looking at the 636 MC and the hose inlet is in a different position. Has anyone tried this mod?

So far:
-Can pregen rotors swap onto newgen wheels, and vice versa? NO
-Can newgen calipers mount to pregen forks, and vice versa? NOT without bracket.
-Swap out to DOT 5.1
-Do pregen and newgen SS lines interchange? WE SHALL SEE.

Any other relevant pregen brakes info?

All I can tell you is sintered EBC pads up front with galfer SS lines made a pretty big difference over stock. I feel like I can get maximum braking power now since the brake feel is more noticeable and easier to control.
