I WON a leather motorcycle jacket at a bike show. It had hard elbow pads. The jacket fit well and was OK till I crashed. When I landed on my side. The hard elbow pad broke my ribs. It was a very slow low side . I dug the center stand in going around a corner. How's that for bad safety gear? It caused an injury.
