I still consider myself a novice in the world of motorcycles and have only been riding for about 3 years, so take my thoughts for what they're worth.

I wonder why he tries to sell this bike so hard. I'm glad he had a lot of nice things to say about the bike, but why didn't he bring up the suspension that isn't optimal for a husky American? Top speed of 115? Going downhill with a tailwind, maybe. 70mph? That's really generous. 0-60 in 5.7 seconds? Doable with a practiced, experienced rider in optimal conditions. Still, where'd he get these numbers?

Light? For its time, I guess. 370ish lbs wet isn't all that light.

On the note of replacing the mufflers, I don't think he realizes that they weigh a ton. I still have my stock cans on it and am happy with them, but I completely understand anyone wanting to modify their exhaust.

There are plenty of fantastic things to say about any Ninja 250 as the Ninjette enthusiasts on this forum know, but I think he really gave it more credit than was due and exaggerated some things.
