From what I understand:
Cheap route:
remove lower 250 stem race and swap onto 600 fork and reinstall everything.
Grind/cut away frame stem steering lock bracket as it will not clear the forks.
better route:
remove all the oem races and ball bearings and replace with all balls racing roller bearings.

Frame Sliders .....hmmm .... should I, or should I not? They're great if a sudden drop should occur or if going down on pavement. But! tend to do more damage once the bike goes off road. This is why I am debating of adding them, or not....... decisions, decisions.
