If you run oil in your gas, you won't ever have to clean the carbs. Bike was sitting for months in winter, took 10 seconds of cranking but fired right up. Old trick I found out myself but I read this has been used by old timers for a while, specifically by pouring it down the fuel lines going to carbs and then just putting the machine back into action with straight gas. I elect to just run oil with fuel and never have to worry about a corroded gummed up carb. It also serves as an upper cylinder lubricant and fogging oil while in use. Can't recommend this enough. I use waste motor oil and haven't found a negative yet.
