Had this same problem. Most likely the jets are clogged. Like everyone else said, cleaning the carb works best to fix the issue. There's Youtube vidoes on how to do it. If that sounds too complicated, you can also pour some seafoam into the gas tank and then ride it around. After that let it sit for a night then test again. Either way, empty out the gas and put new gas in.
