Please forgive me if I'm wrong but I pretty sure it would only take more power and torque to rotate a larger diameter wheel.

Since the diameter and weight are the same the only factor from the extra width would be the extra tire tread that makes contact to the pavement. This would not be a big enough factor to notice any difference.
