Nice thread. I took in an 8 year old beagle this past February. Originally I went to the shelter to volunteer and did a couple of days, but then I took in my beagle and stopped going cause she's a handful herself. She has potty issues occasionally which I think is linked to her severe anxiety. She shakes a lot and whenever she's home alone she usually leaves a puddle even after she went outside.
