The 600 mile service was the only one I went to the shop for. I figured they are suppose to do a little extra looking around to make sure the bike doesn't have any manufacturing defects... Hopefully they would have shown up by then.

Also, in the US, you can't void your warranty just because you do the work yourself. However, if something happens to the bike, you need to be able to prove the issue was not caused by something you did/didn't do.
