AGATT, my gear never really gets in the way to NOT wear it.

Helmets:

Fulmer D4 Apache

Rockhard Hustler

Gloves:

Icon Merc Long, and Icon Merc Shorty.

Jacket:

Yoshimura AF-C

Pants:

Icon Insulated Denim Pants

Boots:

Urban Pipeline Jarrett Casual Oxford Boots

My work boots may be the most lacking gearwise, but they did save my foot a few times.

At work recently I slipped on ice and had a beer keg land on the inside of my leg; from foot to knee. Thick ass rubber sole prevented any broken bones in my feet, which I would imagine I had a good 90% of having. Just ended up with lots of bruising.

And another time while riding, I lowsided and once again the thick rubber sole prevented my foot from getting hurt, this time under the bike. It even kept my bike's fairings and exaust off the ground preventing any damage to the bike. Got up and rode off with a rashed bar end and clutch lever.
