Yoshis are packed up in the box and going out tonight. I didn't have a scale handy to make a mass comparison between the two sets, but I can say the factory pipes are
heavy. I don't mind, they're way worth it so I can hear myself think. I went for a rip around the block and it's just the sound I wanted.
