Carbs are very different between pre-gen and new-gen models:

- Different diameter venturis
- Different needle shapes
- Different jets
End result is vastly different fuel-mappings for two completely flow-patterns. You'll end up super-rich in mid-range with lazy response. And super-lean in high-end and risk blowing headgasket and melting hole in pistons.

Dang it, I got this fully rebuilt Newgen with all new internals, Stage 3 kit, etc. My CRs are still at the shop waiting for parts to get rebuilt for 4 months. Anywho thanks for the intel. See you in a week and a half.
