Actually it was a great idea...
The problem isn't the idea, it's the venue. Because this is America, by God, and everybody gets a trophy just for participating.
Seriously, in the generation I grew up in (yeah, I'm getting kinda old now) the way you found out you were a douchebag was other people telling you that you were a douchebag. You could either get all your feelings hurt or not, that was up to you.
