I've never seen an Area P in person. It's either Muzzy, Yoshimura or Kerker. I've never even heard Area P mentioned in dicussions outside this board. You are dead wrong about the exhaust doing nothing for performance though. You drop 18 lbs off a bike with as little HP as ours it makes a noticeable difference.
