In Japan those lights are orange indicators. In UK the ZZR has the same setup, but not far enough apart for EU regulations, so they were painted out to match to body work. I discovered this, so removed the covers & rubbed the paint off then treated them
To a couple of coats of gloss varnish to restore the surface. Looks much better like it was intended.
