I like your answer to the money comment. Right to the point.
There's always been a little friction here on the forum between guys who see there EX-250 as simply basic transportation (in which case the object is to spend as little as possible on it) and the guys who view the bike as part of their favorite hobby. I guess it's human nature to be surprised by or even critical of somebody's choice to spend money in a way that you wouldn't. It's hard to make the jump to seeing the motorcycle (in this case) from another person's viewpoint.
But I'm definitely with you in the "hobby" group when it comes to my EX-250.
