I decided to shoot The Cycle Guys an email regarding the 300 and sizing. Here's what they stated, for anyone interested:

The bad news: The FastPack for the Ninja 250 will not fit the 300.
The good news: FastPack Size 7 will be available by the end of June, and it fits the Ninja 300 as well as a few other bikes. Please check our website in a couple of weeks or send me an email to confirm availability.
