I've got basically a 300 w/ carbs now. With K&N pods, 115 keihin MJ seemed good up top per but dyno. It was a bit off in the 7-10k range with 2 washers under the stock needles. I just changed to 3 washers and the ride around the neighborhood seemed a bit better.
I need to get mine to the dyno before Road America.

Worked ok at Pittrace. the bike doesn't need any choke to start. Throttle off the bottom is very abrupt, but it pulled fairly cleanly. I haven't done anything with the needle setting yet. I was bouncing off the rev limiter quite frequently in top gear, but a good part of the reason for that is the smaller diameter of the 125GP sized tires I used. However, I'm pretty sure my top speed was a good bit more than I've seen with the 250 motor. The endurance this weekend will be a good test.
