It's definitely a very capable road machine. It does feel a little unrefined compared to the ninjette or the zx, for example the front brakes are a little weak.

It's an absolute blast on fire roads and gravel trails, all the way to an ATV trail. But anything more narrow or rocky and this beast is just too darn heavy. I think if the intention was to do 80% dirt and 20% road, then you would want something a little smaller like a klx250, but for a 50/50 split, it's currently the right tool for the job.

It's also incredibly easy to maintain. Because of the height and lack of fairings, any major components can be access within 5 minutes. Oil changes, Air filter changes and even valve adjustment aren't very intimidating! (And much easier since it only has one cylinder)
