When your pace starts to pick up a little bit the kickstand mounting bracket on the frame starts dragging and can toss you down pretty easily. 08-12 track bikes typically have the kickstand mount cut off.
The stock muffler drags pretty easily too.
Used ninja 250 race bikes go for about $1000 allready set up if you can find one.
