^ you'll quickly learn. It's not about if you go down, it's when, and how prepared you are.

I started riding with all gear, because I started getting into downhill longboarding, and took a fall at about 35 mph wearing shorts, t-shirt, helmet and slide gloves. Thankfully my instincts kicked in and I only ended up with a small section of rash on my elbow from where I landed, I instinctively popped up onto my slide gloves and shoes and came to a stop about 40 feet later. Either way, that road rash hurt and took a solid month to go away. I learned my lesson then, the road doesn't care, it hurts everyone just the same.

I'm at 24 points, and might be looking to tip that scale quickly with a mesh jacket with upgraded CE armor for summer (gasp!) Can't decide if I want that, or to start gearing up for the next snowboarding season.
