I totally get what you guys are saying. I am not saying new as in the sense that I want a brand new "3 mile odometer" bike. I'll give you my example,

For the Ninja 250 I knew that I wanted to go with at least a 2008 Ninja 250 because of the changes Kawi made. I couldn't find any in my area then so I had to go with a NEW 2009 model.

Same reasoning I have for getting an 09+ ZX6r. I may be superficial but I like the look of the 2009+ ZX6r way more than the previous generation ones. I also know that there are mechanical differences as well such as the steering damper and the forks. Can you blame me for wanting a bike that also has the looks I want?

If I can get find an 09 Used ZX6r of course I will consider it much more than a brand new one from the dealer. Do you guys understand what i mean?
