It's not about enjoying things like scenery, technical turns, or challenging yourself. It's about how fast you can go in a straight line, all the time.

No but seriously I know some people who are only concerned with how fast vehicles can do the quarter mile. They want to get straight on a Busa and go to town. Some people have no respect for what they're doing and it tends to catch up with them, one way or another.
Plus you can laugh you way to the bank with how much you're saving on insurance.
