Hi James, it's good to meet you. You should be able to clean the pilot jets and passages with some carb clearner or lacquer thinner in a dish, along with some small wire. I use a strand from a piece of copper hookup wire.
Ducatiman here is well known for doing professional carb cleaning and service for a very reasonable charge as well.
I was able to get a lot of the dents mostly out of my tank by pushing with a bar through the filler hole. The steel is thin and easily bends. The bar had to be curved, and I increased and decreased the curvature as needed to reach various parts of my tank. When I was done, I used Bondo, but didn't have to make it any thicker than about 1/8" in the worst spots. If you're careful, you may be able to remove most of the dent and not need to repaint for the time being.
Of course there are also the commercial paintless dent repair shops.
