Indeed, you’re right. I’m repainting the tank so i hadn’t been able to go check it yet. I just did and it definitely won’t work. Frustrating that they sell them saying they fit, but at least it wasn’t a lot of money wasted.
I’m not confident in the rebuild process on this bike, knowing very little about how long the petcock has been bad, what other issues there might be, etc.
Guess I’ll be ordering a real one from my local parts place tomorrow.
