The second outing at Misano for the MotoE field brought the pack closer together, with the top four covered by two tenths of a second and Matteo Ferrari leading the way for the Gresini squad. Xavier Simeon climbed to second, one tenth down and with Hector Garzo only a hundredth of a second behind. FP1 leader Niki Tuuli dropped to fourth but very close to the trio ahead, with a two tenths’ gap to Niccolo Canepa in fifth. Championship leader Mike Di Meglio ended the session as the final rider within a second of the leader, in 11th position.
