Majority of my riding has been done between Manhattan and Coney Island, my weekday commute that sometimes involve getting onto the subway train with my bicycle.
Rain or shine, doesn't matter the traffic pattern, the bike is likely to be quicker to the destination than car.
Though it might not be relaxing or stress relieving kind of riding, but keeps me sharp on the motorcycle when I survive on my bicycle though the mayhem of city traffic.
Seems to me that road rage are certainly on the rise with congestion and summer weather.
On the weekends I'm lucky if I get out on my road bike for a couple of hours of just relaxing ride in the countryside. Then I encounter the teenage drivers who just graduated high school that throw bottles at cyclists.
Cycling isn't what it used to be when I was a teenager for sure.
