Last weekend, my buddy Marcus and I went for lunch ride up to Monte Rio, about 100-,miles north of SF.
Here we are starting out at Big Rock Mini Mart on Lucas Valley Road. Waved to the Star Wars guy's gate as we passed it.
Then it was lots of redwood forests and farmland on the way to Monte Rio.
We stopped at this colourful hoop building
It had a movie theatre on front side playing a funny '80's movie
At the back was a diner with "classic" outdoor grill
Ah.. hot fresh Mac & Cheese, perfect for cold weather!!!
Then we took a wrong turn at Cotati and ended up in Santa Rosa for coffee
On way back, 101 was horrible as usual due to construction between Petaluma and Novato. Can't believe they've been working on this for 10-yrs and not a single section of 2-lane has been widened!!!
