The tool to remove the screw down water tight case back is a clamping tool with three jaws. Different points can be used for different watch designs. Once the case is firmly in the vice. The tool is attached. It clamps tight to the watch caseback. Then you turn it.
In this case the back came off with out any trouble.
I constantly cleane around the edge as I am opening it. First with air then a brush then clay. And wala the back is off.
