A common issue on this bike and one of the items people need to check regularly. Same probably goes for a lot of other bikes. I recall someone who had this issue ended up using a 8x1.25 bolt as a substitute for the OEM bolt. Probably wasn't a perfect match but it did the job nonetheless.
