My Ninja 250 Build

Hey all, figured I'd start my own thread to show progress on my build, and maybe get some ideas/advice on future modifications.

Here is some background on me:
I have 3 bikes, 2005 ZX6R, 2012 Ninja 250, and a 1978 Yamaha IT400. I worked as a manager 2 Cycle Gears in Central California, and I also worked as a salesman/parts department guy at the Honda/Kawasaki/Suzuki/Triumph dealership here in Bakersfield. I do all my own work, unless of course I can't due to not having a specific tool.

Background on the 250:
2012 Ninja 250 Passion Red. Bought it brand new in 2012 as a second bike. Crashed my first ZX6R and sold it to buy a smaller bike to learn on. Fast forward a year later, first crash on the 250. Lowsided on the asphalt filler for the cracks in the road going about 80 mph. Bike was trashed, but, figured I'd learn how to work on motorcycles by fixing my own. Of course there were mistakes, ie. not making sure there was coolant in the system cause of a leak. That's how we get here. Motor blew a head gasket and scored a cylinder wall.

Plans for build:
Wiseco +2 64mm Piston Kit CR 12.5:1
Bore out cylinders +2 over to fit new pistons
Replacement intake camshaft
New clutch cover gasket/stator gasket
Change fork fluid and setup front suspension for weight and riding style
Straighten out rear frame from crash
Rear GSXR Shock/Rebuild
Galfer Braided front line
Vesrah Brake Pads
Michelin Power RS - 110/70-17 140/70-17
Braking Front and Rear rotors
Carb tune - I have Dynojet Stage 3, but I'll probably need to retune
K&N Pod system
De-cat stock headers or buy bigger diameter headers to pair with my Leo Vince GP slip on
Hotbodies track fairings
Dyno day

Things I have already:
Wiseco +2 64mm Piston Kit
Clip ons
Dynojet Stage 3
Leo Vince GP Slip on
Motul 300v
K&N Air Filter in stock airbox - Will replace with pods

Getting the cylinders bored out in a week or so by Power House in Bakersfield

The bike is going to be my dedicated track weapon. Any help, tips, or tricks are all appreciated. Also, I'm not going for the faster 250 out there, just something quicker, reliable, and functional. I have my ZX6R to go fast (134hp tuned )

Will add pics soon. Stay along for the ride
